Reproducibility is underrated. One lockfile for OS, tools, and infra means onboarding is git clone + one command.

I don’t run full NixOS (yet), but even nix develop for per-project shells removes a whole class of “works on my machine”.

Takeaway: start small — one flake, one devShell, then grow.
